Vision for
Israel’s Water Treasures
Imagine standing on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, feeling the gentle breeze and gazing at the tranquil waters that have witnessed centuries of history.
This freshwater lake, also known as Lake Kinneret, symbolizes natural beauty, spiritual significance, and historical richness. Alongside this, the Dead Sea, with its unique mineral-rich waters and dramatic landscapes, is a vital part of Israel’s natural heritage.
Both of these iconic bodies of water are central to Israel’s ambitious 2030 vision and plan for preservation.
